Representatives include Beijing duck, Cherry Valley duck, French duck, Aobaixing duck, etc. The French Duck and Aobaixing Duck are more optimistic about the market. The outstanding features include good meat quality, high lean meat rate, low feed meat ratio, and strong disease resistance. For example, the meat of French duck has wild bird flavor; the chest muscles account for 27 to 30% of the carcass; under extensive conditions, the brooding rate and survival rate are as high as 95 to 98%.
